Portrait and lifestyle sessions take place outdoors at a variety of beautiful locations in and around the Savannah area. Outdoor sessions offer a wonderful way to photograph a variety of genuinely candid and thoughtfully posed portraits. I've listed some of my favorite locations down below!

Clothing Tips:

More than any other question, clients always ask is what they should wear to their family session. Coordinating outfits can be stressful but it doesn't have to be!

-Put most of the family in different neutral shades (i.e. ivory, gray, beige) and then add a few pops of coordinating color. Start with one person and remember to complement, not match.

-Pops of pattern can definitely look great, but if you're looking for a fail-proof family combination, go with solids. To keep things from looking boring, include some texture. Like chunky knits and lace. Try to avoid tiny prints, especially small plaid and small stripes.

-Gap and Old Navy are two great options that have clothes for the whole family. The sample clothing and palette boards below will help you as you plan your family's clothing.
